  • WHAT IS CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture or Community Shared Agriculture and is a direct exchange between your local farmer and you!

It works a bit like a veg box scheme, BUT by committing to a whole season of veg boxes at the beginning of the year, you offer much greater support to your local small-scale grower and makes you a part of our story.

Most of the costs of running a market garden come at the beginning of the year. So your pledge at the start of the season really helps me to know how much and of what to grow-resulting in much less waste and allows me to purchase the highest quality Organic seed and peat-fee composts.

And the best news…by becoming a CSA member, when the season is good and the farm produces in abundance, those extra veggies are passed onto you!

  • WHAT DO YOU GET?

Running for 27 weeks, May-October, your weekly box will comprise of 8-10 different seasonal crops. You’ll also get the chance to have a say at the start of the season which vegetables you enjoy receiving frequently and which you prefer to receive less often. Allowing me to plan for and grow what you and your family like to eat.

I’ll provide you with regular farm updates/newsletters, recipe ideas to inspire and of course, you’ll be invited to any on farm events and supper clubs.

  • WHY JOIN?

CSA answers our questions about how and where the food we eat and feed to our families is produced.

You’ll receive a hearty box of chemical fee, (Organic-in conversion) seasonal fruit and veg every week of the seaon direct from the farm. Always picked and delivered within 24 hours.

We refuse to use any plastic packaging, so everything is 100% compostable. Our market garden is powered entirely by the sun and we don’t use any mechanised farm equipment-So your veg box is always virtually carbon free and plastic free!
